Futureproof was started back in 2003 by Phil Legg initially as an award winning club night in Notting Hill frequented by the likes of Lily Allen, Miquita Oliver, Sacha Baron-Cohen, Neneh Cherry, Miss Dynamite & Rodney P.
The label followed soon after with a first release (vinyl & donwload) from United State featuring Rodney P
“All My Love (goes your way)” which featured remixes from Don E (Atomic Dred) and the P Brothers.
The release was Single of the Month at Echoes Magazine, a Sure Player in DJ Mag and Recommended in M8 Magazine. It also entered the National Student charts at # 5 as well as getting love and support from Radio 1’s Zane Lowe and Giles Peterson - Galaxy’s Steve Sutherland and BBC London’s Norman Jay.

Recording sessions with Neneh Cherry (yet to be released) followed on from the United State & Rodney P releases and since then the company has concentrated on developing their Promotions & Digital Distribution operations. They are currently in the process of developing some talent with a view to releasing material in the near future.
