After graduating from a degree in BA Music Technology and Music Industry Management in 2008, Gareth jioned the team and has applied his knowledge in electronic and experimental music to broaden the reach of Futureproof. His understanding of underground music marketing strategies has helped to nurture acts from the diverse electronic music spectrum; be it IDM, Dubstep, Ambient, Breakcore, or Minimal Techno.
Gareth's hunger to succeed has led him to quickly established strong personal relationships with the DJs and journalists, who now trust his judgement and knowledge of the underground/leftfield music scene. Having also been a big fan of other genres including Metal, Post Rock, New York Hardcore & Grime Core at various times in his life Gareth has a true understanding of the trends and movements currently driving the creative soup of cutting edge music.
Gareth is also a working artist in his own right and performs under the moniker of Maudlin www.myspace.com/maudlinsplace. He is also availble for leftfield remixes and other post production services.
